I've been keeping myself updated with the latest news about the volcanic eruption happening in Iceland at this very moment. I'm telling you, its getting worse each and everyday! And what seems to be the big deal about this? Just the fact that all the ariports across europe are closed down till godknowswhen due to the massive ashes that the volcano unleashes into the air. Why should I be so downright concerned about this? Well simply because I have a flight to catch this Friday (like, uh.. 3 more days from now) to UK, as I said in my previous post. That is the reason why I'm all stressed out as if its Monday everyday. No, make that Tuesday, because Tuesday for me, is the new Monday. Shiz!
So anyway, we were supposed to start packing yesterday, but we haven't even laid out a single cloth yet given the fact that our flight to UK is abruptly un-confirmed. Its not cancelled, just hindered and delayed. But if its gonna remain like this for weeks and weeks to come, than that would officially seal the cancelation :(
Yadayada.. I might as well tell you where I'm specifically going since I already told you about our UK flight. If it is gonna happen, we will be travelling to Perthshire, Scotland and London, England. Unlike 2008, I stayed for about a month but only in London. This time its 1 country per week. Which means a week in Perthshire and another in London. Which also means its gonna be downright hectic as we'll be using as much of our free time to roam around these said places. And its gonna be a little challenging too since my dad won't be with us on our flight to Scotland. Because he'll be waiting for us there, yeah he's already in Scotland. He's undergoing his yearly studying course again in the UK, so that kinda explains the whole thing :)
So I've just done reading an article about the latest of all latest news about the volcano. Apparently now some electric force started developing in one of it's recent eruption. Its obviously getting stronger and now it can make lightning bolts sting out from it's crater, literally. (I'll try to upload the photo, later)
But, I did came across a good news. Looks like due to all the protests made by the grounded passengers all over europe, airport in Heathrow (London) is now allowing limited flights for those said passengers. They're also receiving certain flights from Asia. Thankgod!
But still, chances of our flight being canceled is very high, not unless the volcano's ashes in the air wears off within these few days before my flight. I hope it does y'know and all those closed down airports would be back on track. Lets just hope so.

The Good News!
As I've said in my previous post, we had just finished our 1st assesment this morning and the exam today was Geography. Well Geography was alright, feel I can trap that credit point easily. Okay so thats not actually the good news which I am talking about.
It started out when I am just minutes away after I've finished my Geo exam, Mr.Suresh, my english teacher, walked to my table and starts talking about how well my english-assesment composition was. I was like "uh-huh". And then he said he wants me to re-write it because he wants to print it into the School Magazine. Then I was like "Owwwwh". And he kept talking on how well I organized the storyline and it was the best compostion he'd read so far and yadayadayada.
I did'nt even see that comming. The last thing I remembered was that my compostion was full of strokes and blanco pastes all over. So I asked him "wasn't my compostion a little too messy?" and started explaining to him that I did'nt have much time to write the compostion til' 600 words. But then he said its okay and more about how well I composed. Lastly I thank him for his cool praisings =)
Well truth be told, I don't even remember most of the things that I've composed in that composition. I do remember that I was writting it as if I was blogging. I mean with all funny phrases and un made-up facts. All the way straight forward. But anyway, I do remember that I really nailed the ending. The topic I chosed was "Scenes and sounds during breaktime" (I know-its kids stuff) and at the ending I pulled back the words of the topic and wrote it down with some more continuations. Its like this:.............because its the scenes and sounds of life, in my school. And there you have it-BAMM! A story about breaktime with an ending so hearty and deep within only a few words on a few lines. That, my fellow readers, is how I role! =D
Okay I'll stop here. Happy School's Out Holiday people!! =)

The Tiger's Roar
Okaay it seems that the "Brunei most boring country" online group hasn't been deleted yet. How can it be deleted anyway? It clearly says in that group that there are no admins responsible. But as I said in my previous post, this particular girl that claimed herself as the true creator of the said group (through a wall post) evidently doesn't want to give in until now. Her wall posts are still posted in that group. But trust me, you're gonna have a hard time finding it since its already sunked down by all the dirty hate messages the Bruneians are leaving there. Some said the government are taking action on this, but I'm not too sure. Okaay so you might not know what i'm talking about here unless you read my previous post.
And apart from that, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish a
Happy Chinese New Year
to everyone especially to those who are celebrating :]

Michael Jackson is dead?
''But in this ever changing world in which we live in..Makes you give in and cry''
-Live and let die, Paul McCartney.
I was browsing through a particular blog just momentarily and you could say I came across one of the most shocking news I've ever heard, about the death of The King Of Pop: Michael Jackson.

At first I didnt really believed about this. But once I Googled it....Its a fact!! Michael Jackson is pronounced dead at age 50 on the 25th June 2009 which was yesterday.
That certainly was a F-Y-I to me. Such depressing.
I think I'm gonna stop here..I'll be back with more information/update about M.J's death..While in the mean time you can search about this online.

Texas toddler is first swine flu death in U.S.
WASHINGTON - Officials confirmed the death of a 23-month-old child in Texas from the new strain of swine flu on Wednesday, the first fatality from the condition reported outside Mexico.
Dr. Richard Besser, acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, confirmed the fatality during an interview with NBC News.
Besser told NBC's TODAY show that he didn't believe "this indicates any change in the strain of the flu."
Sixty-six infections had been reported in the United States before the report of the toddler's death in Texas.
"Even though we've been expecting this, it is very, very sad," Besser added. "As a pediatrician and a parent, my heart goes out to the family."
Besser said authorities essentially are still "trying to learn more about this strain of the flu."
"It's very important that people take their concern and channel it into action," Besser said, adding that "it is crucial that people understand what they need to do if symptoms appear.
The world has no vaccine to prevent infection but U.S. health officials aim to have a key ingredient for one ready in early May, the big step that vaccine manufacturers are awaiting.
But even if the World Health Organization ordered up emergency vaccine supplies — and that decision hasn't been made yet — it would take at least two more months to produce the initial shots needed for human safety testing.
It was just this morning that we performed our presentation on the 'News Flash Of The Month' It was a splendour achievement. Amalina is the brain behind the powerpoint presentation. She'd done a great job. Also to the main announcers and the the rest of the speakers. O'Yeah-Not forgetting the guitar players. I also fulfilled my role..on giving a speech about Bobby Chinn's presence in Brunei. A few people from other classes approached me..Saying i'd done a great job with my speaking. I'd taunted..But when people gives you a 'hats-off' we should exchange them with reverence.
The presentation did persuade me. -Alot!! You could be educated by watching the news itself. And that, it explains the 'breaking-news' article above. Received it from my MSN acount. Felt appropriate that i share it here.
I'll be back-Stay tune for more updates :D

Consequence
Our school confronted a situation a few days ago. And what leads to the consciousness of teachers and student bodies, When caught a Year 9 (Secondary 3) student drinking alcohol in the school. Now this is not a circumstance that we can all linger around with. St.Margarets name has been clean after all this years, until a very insincere day, when the particular situation happened. Apparently, the student whom was caught 'drunk' was our new classmate. He was transfered from another school just few days ago. And his second day at St.Margarets, was his origin of attempting alcoholism in the school. Not only that, he was also suspected on drugs. Luckily, the school, without any reluctance, expelled the student immediately. What a nuiscane he has been to the school. What would other people say about St.Margarets now. How this situation has confound so many people. Speaking of which. There are some students who are slowly arising to ruin the school name, who has severe habit of smoking. Chiefly in toilets, where the cigarette left-overs can be found or where the smell of cigarette can be fume. There will be a time when they will come across the principal and face severe consequences.
Advices, what people usually said.
Do not to drugs, in the other hand avoid alcohols and smoking.

Has the internet finally killing the tv?

More than 80 million Americans have watched a TV show online. By 2013, a research group says, scheduled programs will account for less than half of all video viewed.
Is this the summer that the Internet finally kills television as we once knew it?
Most industry observers are stopping short of that prediction, citing some significant hurdles still in the way.
Most industry observers are stopping short of that prediction, citing some significant hurdles still in the way.
But the growing number of new deals and new devices being announced suggests that a profound change in the way people watch video -- and what video they watch -- is under way.
The line between "television" and video via the Internet already has blurred and may disappear in coming years.
At least one industry analyst has declared "TV is dead" and welcomes Americans to a new age of video everywhere.
Increasingly, Americans are watching video when they want to, and on the screen that suits them at the time. And more programming is from new sources that threaten to unlock Hollywood's domination of content.
Video is now delivered on displays and devices of every shape and size, from gigantic theater screens and ever-larger home projector screens to flat-screen HDTVs and from desktop and laptop computer monitors to tiny personal screens such as those found on iPods and mobile phones.
