I wanna camp!

Okaay.. why do I heard rumors that OGDC won't be organizing a camp this December like they usually do every year?

I was so looking forward to join this year's camping. Usually they've already advertised this event on newspapers and stuffs. I've been participating the camp there like 5 times already. And last year's was the best. I won two medals!

I just hope there will be camp this year. Maybe they're organizing it at a later date than usual as oppose to not organizing it at all anymore. I just hope so!

Verging on World War 3?

Heard the news lately folks? Theres war raging between North and South Korea right at this very moment. Now theres also a post going around Tumblr about a person called Baba Vanga who predicted that World War 3 will commence this month. This prediction of her's can be related to the current war between the Koreans. Baba predicted that the war will begin like a normal war but will gradually include the usages of nuclear and chemical weapons. Coincidentally, North Korea posses Nuclear bombs and missiles, I have no doubt they're gonna use them against their opponents any time soon.

Now coming back to Baba. I was initially skeptical of her predictions until I made a brief research about her recently. She was a Bulgarian who was born in 1911. It seems that she has the paranormal ability to predict the future despite the fact that she was blind after being swept away by a tornado. Gasp. Well at least she lived a long life, she died in 1996.

It was also reported that Adolf Hitler had visited Baba at her house, maybe to let her read his future. When Hitler exited her house, he wore a sad face. It might be because by then he already knew his coming attempt to control the world won't be much of a success. lol.

Baba made alot of predictions that came true:

One of them was in 1989, she quote:
"Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing."

Obviously this is related to the September 11th incident of 2001 where the US WTC was attacked by terrorist planes. 'Bout the part where she said something about wolves and bush, I think that has something to do with the US President that time, G.Bush.

She also predicted that the 44th US president would be a black man. And hey, that explains alot about Obama being the current president. Unfortunately she also said that Obama would be the last US president as she quote "America will freeze up and go down in spectacular economic crisis." -yikes.

Oh thats not the last of her predictions. You'd be surprised by what you're about to read next. More of her predictions of the coming future! (Source) And lemme tell you, it doesn't get much better.

Guess Who?

This is a merely rare photo! I'm guessing its not going to be much of that anymore since I'm posting it in my blog for the whole world to see. ha!

Still can't guess who? Its Mr.Lambert for crying out loud. Working in Starbucks!

I reckon in the photo Adam is still in his pre-idol high school years. He looks a little chubby no? And not to mention blonde. lol. If you ask me, this is the original Adam. The current Adam is smokes and mirrors; Adam used to be snow-white blondie till he dyed his hair black and tanned his skin. Oh, and in one of his radio interviews last year, he had mentioned that he used to be a hefty high school kid weighing more or less 250 pounds! I'm not sure if he was exaggerating or not, but 250lbs is like equal to 110kg or something. Thats like almost twice my current weight. But just look at Adam right now, god knows what he did to himself to lose those excessive pounds.

-That Glambert 101 is brought to you by iWaly.- :P

Oh and here's another rare picture of Adam during his childhood years:

I especially dedicate this part of the post to Syuhada! HEHE.

Adam is on the right-hand side. I'm not sure who the other person is. Could be an old friend. Could be his brother? Wait, does Adam even have a brother? :B

Glambert 101

Damn! Adam Lambert is currently in Singapore. Thats like.. really close to Brunei. Well duh.. :b

This was at the Grand Prix Padang on the 25th of September. Ergh. Even if I was given a free ticket to the concert, dad would so not allow me to go. Not at least till I'm eighteen. Which I will be just less than 3 more years from now. NYEHEHEHE!

I just wish Adam included Brunei in his 2010 internation Glam Tour at the first place. Sigh. Oh come on Adam, be as sporting as Maher Zain and come to Brunei already!! lol.

Procrastination

If I am lacking post updates in this blog (like nowadays) it either means I have an exam and I have to be prepared or simply because

Inalillah

Inalillah Wa Ina Ilaihi Rajiun

A classmate of mine -but nonetheless a good friend- had passed away yesterday after a tragic car accident taken place somewhere in Seria. Her name is Amirah Nabilah binti Yussof. She was only 15 years old.

Let us all take a moment of silence to recite Al-Fatihah to her.

My condolences especially goes to her and her family.
_________________________________________________________

I was watching a dvd that late afternoon when I received a message on my phone from Dosh saying he heard rumors that Amirah had passed away. At first, ofcourse I didn't believe, though my heart was pounding oh so very fast.

So I went to check on Facebook -the only convinient source that allows me to communicate with my friends at such short notice- and was damn surprised to see people talking about her on hundreds of Wall Posts, yet not one of them was entirely sure about her passing away. My house happened to be situated just a stone throw away from her's and with a wireless phone in my hand, I quickly called Dosh as I literally ran to my backyard. Thankgod the signal was satisfying enough. I viewed her house from that distance and saw a lot of cars parked around it. That itself wasn't a good sign. Dosh believed likewise. I instead went back into my house when I should've gone to Amirah's at the first place, I don't know, at that point my brain was throbbing and my mind was totally bobbled. I can't think rationally.

After ending my call with Dosh, I then called Zqah Mesli. Both of us were literally shouting on both ends. Serious nutcase situation as Zqah was being Miss I-So-Don't-Believe-You. Atlast, my parents came back from god knows where and told me to get dressed up as they were about to bring me to Amirah's house. I was scared, although at that moment I had the feeling she was already gone. As we reached there, lots of people were gathering around outside and her dad who eventually came to greet us, had confirmed that Amirah had passed away and her body was still inside the house. That fact made my brain throb more, adding to that my hands were shaking. I almost had a nervous breakdown when her dad told us details about the accident.

-OMG I'll be back! I swear. I just realized that I have a dental appointment at Panaga (ergh time dakat raya jua lah)-

Okay I am back. Where was I? oh yeah. On second thought, I'm not gonna shed the details of her accident here for some reasons. Go fish somewhere else. Only this would suffice: The accident was critical and severe. Anyway, her dad said we can go inside to see Amirah. I insisted not to, for some reason that associates what that accident has done to Amirah. I just can't stand those kind of things, if y'know what I mean. I only stood at the doorway catching only a brief glimpse of her body, covered by a tarp. And that was the last I saw her.

Her mom, who was also involved in the accident is recovering in the Kb hospital ICU. Alhamdulillah.

Well Amirah, its been nice knowing you. You will uneasily be forgotten, I swear for you are such a good friend to me and many more. You always said keep smiling and keep shining, I will. And I will always keep that in mind. Goodbye Amirah. Semogo roh mu dicucuri dengan rahmat Allah dan disimpan disisi orang2 yang beriman. Amin Amin. :')

Unbelievable: Burn a Koran Day

Watch this video if you haven't!
I just knew about this from Facebook.

Wow, I don't know about you guys, but I think this guy went just a little too far. Not only is he promoting the international burning of the AlQuran day but he also authored this book called Islam is of the Devil. By the name of the book itself, we (especially muslims) find it offensive and provocative. And thats just the book cover, not yet the written contents inside the book.

He is a christian named Terry Jones. Obviously he hates our religion. Just because of the September 11th incident in USA which they believed is supposedly of islam's fault. I dare not to say anything foul about his religion for I acquire my utmost respect to it. But as for the man himself, I do like to stamp the words: Epic Fail on his forehead.

He said in the video that AlQuran is not a book of peace. But he and his community's attempt to burn the AlQuran is not gonna create much peace and serenity either. But rather hatred between the two involved religions. As a matter of fact, the Bible (likewise the AlQuran itself) allows the freedom of religion. So what Terry here is basically doing is standing against his own religious constitution. Enough said.

I'm glad to see that Terry's provocative attempt is not receiving much support from the people worldwide. But rather alot of foul responses and feedbacks especially from some of the christians themselves who, from various sources I picked out, believed that Terry is over-reacting and is making a fool of his religion, let alone himself.

The international burning of the AlQuran day is gonna take place on this 11th of September, just a few days from now. It also happens to be the festive Raya for all of us muslims worldwide.

I just can't stand the idea of us celebrating Raya but knowing that Terry and his followers around the world are burning the AlQuran on that very day.

Whats on Tv?

Tv, which comes second after the internet (for me, ofcourse) is something that I frequently indulge myself into ever since the start of the holiday. Although, I seldom put my attentions to astro nowadays since: A) Everyday tv must be tuned to Disney Channel (worse yet -Playhouse Disney) for my rather demanding 5 Year Old sister. B) Dad installed a Prabola in the house. HEHEHE.

I have to admit, at first I was being a downright skeptic as to why dad insisted on subscribing for a Prabola, which is just full of indonesian programs, channels and particularly dramas. Ofcourse, that was me being a stereotype. However, it didn't take me long to fell into the charms of indonesian media. Seriously. I am a daily home audience now and you should see me weeping (just kidding :p) if I ever miss an episode of my favorite tv serires. lol. One of them is Arti Sahabat:

I really like the whole idea of the show: Its based on a group of high-school friends who obtained a tight relationship among themselves, some of them even fell in love with one another. But then came a new guy and the crew of friends befriended him and gradually the crew broke up against one another for some reason that has something to do with the new guy. Then some of my fave characters are up to solve the problem and gather back the friends but uh, okay I'll stop here. Trust me I can go on and on about the storyline, but realizing that I may already possibly bore you to death with what I've just written, I rather not. hahaha.

Anywaaay, heres something slightly apart from that.
To all of you Avatar: The Last Airbender fans out there, I'm sure you've acknowledged that there is *another animated Tv Series about the continuity of the Avatar story. What I meant by that is not about Aang and his friends anymore but rather a new Avatar, the one after Aang, her name is Korra and she is a waterbender.

**The creators of this upcoming Tv series are of the same guys who created Avatar: TLA. But as opposed to making the fourth season of that series, they decided to create a new one, a new series. With new plots, characters and sensation. In other words, its relatively different comparing to Avatar: TLA. And is bound to premiere next year.

Heres the only picture that associates that new show. I wish they'd give something more specific than this. Curiosity is especially killing me! lol.

Hello

I'm back. I might not seem very active with my post updates, obviously, but I'm logged onto my blog almost everyday doing the littlest things that you might not come to realize in the blog, for example, I've removed some links of certain bloggers that have deleted (no, not inactivated) their blog or having a private blog, but not making me an invited reader. HAHA. seriously. I've also come to realize that some great-read blogs are lacking updates since last year. Why oh whhhhyyy? lol. I should ask myself the same question months ago when I was lacking updates myself. :p

And just as I was reactivating my blog, Syuhada on the other hand, is deactivating her's. hmm.

Apart from that, I came across this poster at Rano:

I feel like participating in the Secondary School Category, topic: Making Brunei Cleaner & Greener. I mean how easy can that possibly not be? I've also obtained some more informations about the competition: and the winner of writing the best essay would receive $500, an Acer Notebook Laptop, get their essay published in Brunei Times and surprisingly even more! What a great deal.

And I wonder if I can participate in the Open Category as well? The topic is a little challenging though, but since I'm a competitor -natural somewhat (:b) Why the heck not? hehehe. I'll see.

Its Here, Finally!

Hello again everybodyh. I promised you before that I'd give updates, so heres one of them:

My book has finally arrived! WOHOOOOOOOO. Thanks alot to my dearest friend Zqah Mesli. I asked her to order it online and it came just 3 weeks later. Ofcourse I have to pay her, $36 just for the book itself needless to say. However I've only paid half of the money. hehe. I'll pay the rest of my debts soon Zqah. :D I'd asked mom and dad to order it for me, but they said their Amazon card expired or something. And searching for this book in local bookstores is not an option. Good luck finding it if you will. lol. Anyway, y'wanna know more about the book? Clickhere. I made a post about it just a few months ago.

I haven't started reading the book though. Even though I am utterly eager to do so, just that at the moment I haven't finished reading my copy of The Devil Wears Prada and this other book. So if I started my readings on Lies right now, it'll totally dwarfed the other two books and I will totally lost interest on them. This kind of situation happens all the time with me, which would explain my vast collection of semi-finished reading books. haha.

You know what else arrived at the same day as the book? My first ever contact lenses. lol. I ordered it from an agent via another friend of mine. The contacts were imported directly from Korea. Its just like one of those yellow Edward Cullen contacts, but a little more brownish. Anyway my friends forced me to use them on that very first day it arrives (which was at school) and coincidentally we were gonna get our class photo taken that time. So the fact that I am totally inexperienced with contact lenses, let alone wearing them, is not a good omen for me to use it that very day. But with the help of my friends who after a thousand and one attempts managed to literally put both contacts into my eyes which unfortunately made me end up looking like a rather sadist vampire for my 2010 class photo. HAHAHA.

End.
I'll be back! :)

Here We Go Again

Hello civilized people.

I am baaaaaaaaaaacck! :D
And I brought with me a new change in my blog. I know, I know, 3 months ago I fulfilled my wish of flourishing this blog with colorful attempts here and there just to indicate that my blog is going for a new change. But I just realized recently that colors and stars are so.. so not me y'know. Thats why I'm sticking with my traditionally formal and systematic kind of look. It rocks |m|

Anyway, hows the whole Panorama Of My PreAdult Mindset working out for you guys? lol. Lemme give you a brief vocabulary lesson: Panorama = A very clear picture. PreAdult = Life prior to adulthood. Mindset = Identity, character, ascpect. So basically Panorama Of My PreAdult Mindset is just another complicated way of saying A clear picture of my teenage personality. Not bad eh for my first attempt? lol. And don't you just love the word Panorama? I can say it over and over again and never feel bored cause I'm in love with it! haha.

And oh SELAMAT BERPUASA EVERYOOOOONE!! Although we're only a few days away from Raya. :b

I'll be back with more updates in my next post.

Just so you know

Happy 3rd Year Anniversary iWaly:)

Well thats basically what I wanted to say for today's post.
Apart from that, here's Adam Lambert for all of you Glamberts out there. And oh Syuhada, you're no exception in this. lol

Its a personal favourite of mine. Its not his latest song though, neither if it is a hit in the music chart. But its fantabulous enough for me. Especially given the fact that it's actually Lady Gaga's song. Adam made a studio cover of it and included it in his album 'For Your Entertainment' last year. The song really suites him perfect (Y) If you give this song a listen, than you'll totally agree with me.

Something Colorful

So hows the new look working out for you guys?
I know its somewhat weird to see my blog in this colorful manner, since I've been keeping iWaly black and too formal for the previous months.

Its about time I put this blog in renovation. Thats why I'm taking this weekend to set a new template for this blog with the help of Blogger's new Template Designer. Its really simple as opposed to downloading templates from the internet like I usually do. And for a change, I'm throwing the old goth look away and replace it with a background that empowers a colorful friendly environment, simple thus less formal. But most of all, something totally different.

Whats with the change? Well most probably the fact that iWaly is on the verge of reaching it's 3rd Year Anniversary this coming Monday. Can you believe it? Its been 3 years! I'm not counting from when I first created this blog, I'm counting from the first ever post I've published in this blog. You can find it in in my post archive somewhere.

So anyway, its no big deal really. 3 years ain't that long. Just that, I like the idea that I've grew up 3 years older with this blog. And all the things that happened through out that period is posted in this very blog. So practically this blog is filled with personal memories. And I'm generous enough to share them with you people. nyehe :b I think I'm gonna keep blogging as long as I'm still alive. When I'm like 50 or something with a wish to reminisce upon my past, I can just browse my post archive to read and observe how much of a douche I was when I was younger. lol!

I've made quite a reputation with this blog. But I'm really sorry I can't keep you people entertained enough anymore because of the seldom updates. hehe. Oh yeah, I've also befriended a few bloggers whom I'm never met in my life before. Just like to say thank you for being friendly and still keeping in touch with me and my blog. And to my readers as well. Thanks!

Well uh, I guess this is all. I've already spent too much time decorating my blog. Now time for me to hit the hay. Ciao :)

The Gone Series

So heres a thing about this post, its gonna make me sound like a total geek! lol. I can't believe I'm turning into one of those book worms that only feed on the words of the book they're reading. Okay I'm exaggerating, so what! :)

Among all the books that I've read, here's a personal favourite of mine:-

I've posted a review about this book last year. You can search for it in my post archive. So far, I have to say this is the best book I have ever laid my readings on. It was so great, that I had a second read on it this year. I guess this book only has it's effect on certain teenagers who enjoys sci-fi and all those alike. But I don't think adults would enjoy it that much.

Why? Because in the book (and they quote); "In the blink of an eye; Everyone disappears. GONE. Except for the young, Teens, Middle schoolers, Toddlers. But not one single adult. No teachers, no cops, no doctors, no parents. Just as suddenly, there are no phones, no internet, no television. No way to get help. And no way to figure out what's happened"

I mean, how attention catching is that? But the story doesn't end in that book. Theres a second installment:-

Doesn't make much of a surprise that I've already read this one too. Last month. It was one of the six books that I bought form Uk this year. I gave one to ZqahMesli cause I know she's more of a bookworm than I am. HA! Okay so anyway, this sequel is no match comparing to the first one. But still it made it to my list of must-read-again books. lol.

The storyline of this book is relatively different from the first as it gets much more disturbing, breath taking and more blood spilling. I mean, all the kids have gone totally wild and nuts what with the fact that some of them developed some kind of power that you can actually relate to the characters from the tv series: Heroes. According to the author, the book was inspired by Heroes, Lost and Lord of the flies by Stephen King. If you have actually watched those stuff, you might get a clear picture of how the book is.

But still, as good as it gets, the story still hasn't ended after two series of books. Because theres a third installment:-

And oh maaan! I haven't gotten this one! It's the latest series, published last month!
I want it! No, I need it! The fact that Stephen King, one of the most known author, has written a review saying that he actually loves this book, made it much more of a temptation for me to buy it's third installment this very instance. I was thinking of ordering online from ebay or amazon or something. Because I have no doubt that you cannot find the book in Brunei's Best Eastern. I've tried searching for the first two series in local bookstores, no luck. I ended up buying from some other country instead. lol.
Oh yeah, the book has it's own trailer too. How awesomely cool is that?!:

Rumour has it that there's a fourth installment comming soon. It's called Plague. Can't wait :D
If you're ever interseted, just Google: The Gone Series and find a way to get it somehow. What? you think I was gonna say something like: "You can always borrow it from me?" Ofcourse not. HAA! Although I do have a few people waiting in line for me to lend them the books. Dream on people! lol. :p

Summer?

hellooooo holiday!

Oh god! Its been a hectic week, what with all the tensions and pressures of the mid-year exam. I have no doubt everyone at the point of still-schooling received their fair share of what I've just gone through. I'm telling you, this whole Year 10 syllabus is haaaard! although we've barely made it halfway. Now that its all over, atleast for this term, everyone especially moi' is relieved just to get our mind off those theories and calculations and just sit back, enjoy the holiday. And thank god our class doesn't have extra lessons over this holiday. Wohoo! :)

I haven't really planned anything to do though, its not like I've got one of those 1,001 things to do during this holiday, well other than watching my excessive collections of un-watched Dvds. ha! Or probably extending my guitar lesson via the internet or read my books (no not school books :p) Or maybe, the most important thing of all: Loosing my weight. Oh yeah, I'm also thinking of continuing my excerise at the bsrc gym, wow, been a whole month since I last did that. Hey, on second though, I do have alot of things to do. What do you know. lol. I was initially thinking of posting one of my book reviews today, but I found out I can't upload any pictures to my blog anymore. Why the heck is that? err. I'll try to see if I can fix that sooner or later.

So has anyone watched Glee ep. 20 yet? Well I have! :p It won't be in Starworld till another 2 weeks. But I'm telling ya, Glee was entertaining at it's best! The songs they covered in this episode are just awesome! Here's a clip:

oh, HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYBODYH!!

Miss me yet?

Hello people :)

Okay so it seems that I am no longer active with my blog, obviously. Its really disapointing, I know. However, I'm keeping an active update of myself and my daily life in Scot on Facebook. Yes yes, everything comes down to Facebook. Seriously.

Anyway, just feel free to add me up on Facebook. Its Syafi Al Waly.
And having said that, I just wanna make it clear that, that is my real name. I dont really know why some people keep babbling about me using a fake name on Facebook. Whats so fake about my real name anyway? And to make it more clear than anything else and for the satisfaction of some, my full real name is Ak Md Syafi Al Waly. There, you happy? See, now I myslef is turning into one of those babbling queens. Yikes!

Ohh wait, it seems that I am not gonna be updating anything about Scotland anymore, cause I'll be leaving tomorrow for London. But Scotland was full of it! By 'it' I mean everything fun and awesome! Its sad we have to leave this place :(

Okay okay I'm stopping. Got some packing to do. And dont forget to add me up on Facebook. Bye! :)

Hello Scotland!

Its our 3rd day here in Perthshire, Sctoland. I might as well update this blog and put a stop to my inactiveness :p

So anyway, our journey from Brunei to Scotland took us about 24 hours! (Yes, 1 friggin day) Literally! Counting our 16 hours of flight and in between a transit in Dubai. But that only made us to Heathrow, London. Yes we had another transit in
Heathrow and we have to wait 5 hours just for the next plane to Edinburgh,
Scotland. After the friggin long wait, we finally made our way to Scotland via
the Brittish airlines which took us about 1 hour's time. When touched down in
Edinburgh, dad fetched us up there. Yes as I said before he was already in Scot
3 weeks prior to us. Because he's undergoing one of his yearly studying course
in uk.

Anyway, to get to Perthshire (our final destination) from Edinburgh, its another long drive. But luckily dad owns one of those rent cars, so we made our way via that. But dad took us for a roam in Edinburgh despite us being tired and weary and the fact that we haven't even showered for a day throughout our journey. But it fancies me! alot! having to go around on the heart of Scotland on our first day.

Yeap. This one was in Edinburgh. Its my first day in Scot and I already made
friends with a Scotsman. Ha! :p
So currently we're staying here in Perthshire. This place
isn't so bad itself. Let alone the fact that we live in an appartment just
across the street of some series of shops including Marks & Spencer, Next
and best of all: WH Smith. Yes as you've figured it out: Its a book store. A
book store that has somewhat a mini library in it's upper floor. So anytime I
get bored in the appartment, I'll simply escape myself to WH Smith :)
Initially we were put to live in one of those country cottages but somehow it didn't happen. Which was a good thing, because if it does happen, I wouldn't even be blogging right now due to the exception of Wi-Fi's there. And also the exception of some shopping centres around the place. Which basically comes down to the word: Boredom. Seriously. I went for a visit to the cottage itself last night. But come to think of it, it wasn't all bad considering the natural beauty of the surroundings. But I still prefer living in suburbs, especially in Scotland :)
Ok i gotta go. Bye!

Goodbye Brunei! :)

Okay so for those of you who are wondering, my flight to Uk tomorrow is confirmed! :D

And for those of you who doesn't even have the slightest of idea on what I'm talking about here, just refer to my previous post. Out of all that junk that I've babbled in that post, the important details are somewhere in paragraph 3 or something. ha.

I don't wanna blog much today as I've got a hellotta packing to do. Seriously. And I just came back from our last minute shopping. lol.

Au revoir Brunei and pray for us a safe flight! :)

ps: Don't you just love my posts when it's all colorful and less serious. HA!! :p

pps: HAPPY EARTH DAY EVERYBODY!

Hoping the best, but expecting the worst.

I've been keeping myself updated with the latest news about the volcanic eruption happening in Iceland at this very moment. I'm telling you, its getting worse each and everyday! And what seems to be the big deal about this? Just the fact that all the ariports across europe are closed down till godknowswhen due to the massive ashes that the volcano unleashes into the air. Why should I be so downright concerned about this? Well simply because I have a flight to catch this Friday (like, uh.. 3 more days from now) to UK, as I said in my previous post. That is the reason why I'm all stressed out as if its Monday everyday. No, make that Tuesday, because Tuesday for me, is the new Monday. Shiz!

So anyway, we were supposed to start packing yesterday, but we haven't even laid out a single cloth yet given the fact that our flight to UK is abruptly un-confirmed. Its not cancelled, just hindered and delayed. But if its gonna remain like this for weeks and weeks to come, than that would officially seal the cancelation :(

Yadayada.. I might as well tell you where I'm specifically going since I already told you about our UK flight. If it is gonna happen, we will be travelling to Perthshire, Scotland and London, England. Unlike 2008, I stayed for about a month but only in London. This time its 1 country per week. Which means a week in Perthshire and another in London. Which also means its gonna be downright hectic as we'll be using as much of our free time to roam around these said places. And its gonna be a little challenging too since my dad won't be with us on our flight to Scotland. Because he'll be waiting for us there, yeah he's already in Scotland. He's undergoing his yearly studying course again in the UK, so that kinda explains the whole thing :)

So I've just done reading an article about the latest of all latest news about the volcano. Apparently now some electric force started developing in one of it's recent eruption. Its obviously getting stronger and now it can make lightning bolts sting out from it's crater, literally. (I'll try to upload the photo, later)

But, I did came across a good news. Looks like due to all the protests made by the grounded passengers all over europe, airport in Heathrow (London) is now allowing limited flights for those said passengers. They're also receiving certain flights from Asia. Thankgod!

But still, chances of our flight being canceled is very high, not unless the volcano's ashes in the air wears off within these few days before my flight. I hope it does y'know and all those closed down airports would be back on track. Lets just hope so.

This is so not happening

I might as well be concerned about this since i'll be travelling to UK again this comming Friday.

More details about that on my next post. As of right now, I just wanna burry my head into my pillow and scream like no one's business. And I should probably pray too. 0:)

Furthermore, congratulations usu Ben (who hasn't even updated his blog since godknowswhen) and his wife, usu Fiqah for the deliverance of a newborn baby girl this morning. Another cousin: checked! :D

Hatter's Futterwacken

Managed to catch Alice in Wonderland yesterday, at the cinema. And dear Syuhada! You might wanna read my review, cause I know you're somewhat a fanatic of the movie =D

I have to say, the movie didn't turn out quite the way I had expected. Infact, most of the things in that movie didn't turn out quite the way I had expected. Which I find it rather disappointing than amusing. Yes -Boo me as if I'm Simon Cowell on a critical idol night. lol. Anyway, the movie is more of a sequal to the first (original) Alice in Wonderland story -regardless- whether you've read it in the book or watched that old animated movie of it in Disney channel. In this movie -Alice came back to Wonderland -I don't know, when in her 20's i guess- and didn't even remember of her first visit to Wonderland few years ago (seriously -why did the movie makers made her forget) And now when she came back, all of them living creatures in Wonderland (that has met Alice before) was like "this is so not Alice. Nu-uh" and Alice was like "I'm so Alice uh-huh, but who are you?" HAHAA. okay so I modified that dialogue abit. So what? =p

However, the most noticed-boring parts of the movie was when Alice changes in size. At a moment Alice was small because she drank a weird potion of some kind. And at another moment she became bigger by eating this small cake. But that wasn't the end of her altering sizes in that movie. Because it was followed by more eating and drinking of those weird things, thus Alice was like big and small and big and small throughout the movie, wait i think she was medium sized in the ending. But STILL.

Well in conclussion, I won't say that the movie was rottenly bad, because it totally was not. It was entertaining and fun nontheless -especially when Hatter made his hit Futterwacken dance - just that, for me, the stoyline was well..a bit narrow and crooked. Wish it was more like the original Alice in Wonderland. I guess the movie makers have their reasons why they didn't made it as so. But uh -this is what I think. I dont know about you guys. And dear Syuhada, hope I didn't brought your hopes down about the movie by shedding all it's flaws. lol.

And OHH! I am so looking forward to watch this movie:

Its also known as the Avatar. I've been following it's animated series in Nickelodeon since last year. Theres something quite distinctive and creative about it that made it stand out from the other animated series. Totally. And I can't believe why Dev Patel, that guy from Slumdog Millionaire, has to play the role of Zuko in the movie. Zuko is a descendant of the chinese Fire Nation. CHINESE. Dev is Brittish-Indian. Which won't make any sense if he is to play the role of a chinese descendant. Unless! Unless the movie makers changed the Fire Nation to a descendance of indians. On the contrary, that'll be intersting. I'm still gonna watch it, regardless. Til next time, people!
